Most people don't think about their AC filter until something goes wrong. The system starts struggling to keep up, energy bills creep up, or the air just feels stale and heavy. A clogged filter is usually the culprit - and it's one of the easiest things to fix.

We swapped out a heavily loaded MERV 11 filter for a fresh 5-inch replacement filter. The difference between a spent filter and a clean one is night and day. A dirty filter forces your system to work harder to pull air through, which puts extra strain on the blower motor and can shorten the life of your equipment over time.

A 5-inch filter like the one we installed holds a lot more surface area than a standard 1-inch filter. That means it traps more particles - dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores - before they ever make it into your living space. Better filtration is one of the simplest upgrades you can make for indoor air quality, and it pairs well with any air purification setup you might already have in place.

Summer is when your AC runs the hardest. That's also when a dirty filter does the most damage. If you can't remember the last time yours was changed, that's a pretty good sign it's time.

We make it easy. A fresh filter means cleaner air moving through your home, less stress on your system, and better cooling efficiency right when you need it most.
