He clearly explains all the options available to me and was super detail in what I can do and was not at all pushy about anything. Didn't even charge me for his time. After getting a second opinion (as one should always do), I decided to go back to Clay as his pricing was fair and I like his character and work ethics. I decided on a new unit as mine was an energy hogger and pretty old. Bryan and Ricky came out to install my new unit and did a swell job. The whole time I tagged along because I want to know everything there is to know about my system. Bryan and Ricky are such characters both funny, entertaining and knowledgable. Clay though absent on another job, clearly instructed what needs to be done and went above and beyond to ensure the job was done right. I strongly recommend these fine folks. "What a great company to deal with, last month (Sept 2020) I called Clay when my HVAC system was giving me a big problem, and to add to the problem temperatures were averaging in the 90 degree daily. My system was over 20 years old and using older R22 freon! He was able to come out and give an assessment within 2 days. I knew that my system was at the of it’s days because it was producing very little air. To my surprise I was quoted (2.5 ton AC, furnace and coil) a very reasonable price and installation date. "I am a new client. Clay came over promptly and fixed the problem with the A/C and at a reasonable price. He pointed out some other things that several prior service providers failed to tell me about but that should have been obvious to someone in the business (including the installers), like poorly sealed ductwork (you could feel the cold air leaking out), wires on one vent never being hooked up to one of the zones so it always blew when the unit was on, and my humidifier on one level was never hooked up to any power, which explains why my family always complained about the dry air on that level despite having a humidifier, just to name a few. "Simple story actually. I called them up for a regular tune-up when they discovered cracks in the furnace. They recommended that I replace the furnace. I chose to replace the corresponding AC too since it was cheaper together. When doing the tune-up they pointed out a bunch of issues with my systems unrelated to the cracks. Eventually, I hired them for replacing the HVAC and furnace with Arctic Blast since I felt they were the least “salesy”. Their prices are reasonable. I even got to have them come over a weekend of my choice for the replacement because I work out of my home office and can’t have disruptions. The replacement happened just today (took them about 4 hours). So, I can’t comment on how things are working out. But from the walkthrough after the install, I see that they fixed the other things they pointed out (less fixed and more done the right way with the new system). They even deducted for the thermostat’s cost since I retained my old one. I’m against waste and they were never pushy. Update: A couple of months in, the units are working well. Although the new units are supposed to be more efficient, I didn’t see any power savings. Update: a few more months in, I have no issues with the systems but they are significantly louder when the fan blows. Just wanted to add that."

"I had contracted with Arctic Blast Heating & A/C to install a new HVAC system for my 2-story 3BR/2.5BA home in Nov. 2020. Around Mar. 1, 2024 I noticed the A/C blower wasn't turning on (heat was working). I called Arctic Blast to get a quote for a service call ($80) and texted some basic troubleshooting I had tried (I have an EE degree and worked for Mitsubishi Electric US for a few years). I had it roughly narrowed down to the thermostat, but wasn't sure - Arctic Blast came out and confirmed. They texted an ETA before coming out and showed up promptly, wearing shoe protectors when entering the home. Their diagnosis took maybe 30 minutes. They offered to install a new thermostat but I declined, so I only had to pay the $80. No made-up issues to charge me more money, no hard sell on a new thermostat, everything up-front and honest. I will definitely use them again, even considering purchasing their annual routine HVAC maintenance package for $150! The only negative (not their fault) is that the attic is over our daughter's bunk bed, which is a royal pain to move."
